Once she was dismissed her side needed 66 additional runs at run per delivery - an unconquered height now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"Chasing 330 runs is uncharted waters so I'm pleased we have the confidence to do that now," stated Healy further.

"Hopefully we don't have to do it again but, should it happen, we believe we can achieve it."

Those words will be the last rival teams at this World Cup need to hear.

Over the past five days a belief they will win from any position has grown stronger - this triumph following victory over Pakistan by 107-run victory despite struggling at 76-7 at one point.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before an encounter with traditional opponents England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a semi-final berth may probably be guaranteed.
